diffs and torque steer

out of interest. Do this use a standard mini CWP? if it is and you selling, I would be very interested depending on ratio.

No the diff he has uses LSD type CWP.

What is the spec of the diff, there are 3 different types, road, rally and race. I have the race one and 7" slicks, but with similar power (and more torque) I have no torque steer issues to complain about. But it is a race car, and these diff are notoriously hard work on the road.

ATB could be the answer.

I meant LSD CWP. I am also running the Race LSD, but have no problems either. Only running 95 hp and 100 Nm of torque currently

~It has to be said of the two kits, the Miniexvo is total crap. Engine on the drivers side hanging way out front.

The pro-motive kit is very well thought out, infact I'd go as far to say that it's the best non-A-Series conversion I've ever seen. Give it a turbo to give you some torque and it'd be perfect.

I should add it needs a reverse gear as pointed out, which makes it not so good.

just spoke to darren today hes not tried a plate diff but has had no problems with his quaife so i wil be swapping asap

yeah i'm not sure about that new kit and its over double the price of the promotive kit, belive it or not the reverse isnt much of a problem i've not had a situation were i've been stuck (yet lol) there really isnt a torque issue either as it revs so fast it gets into the power very quickly and would pull away in second on the gearing i have at the moment

noisey esp with the sc cwp but i wouldnt want it rubber mounted with the chain pulling the diff from one side, the only way is for it to be solid mounted ...
the engine is designed to rev over 12k and is solid mounted in any bike its pretty smooth

yeah, id gathered it was for lsd fitment

id honestly recommend selling them separately as final drive choice is a very specific thing whereas dif choice is a bit broader...i.e. many people would want an evo diff, but very few with that f/d

then again, on this forum, the higher f/d the better so...who knows!

if you do end up splitting them, i know someone who wants your cwp, drop me a pm.

ok point taken, i dont know alot about them so didnt want to sell you something that you may not be able to use, i know it was made for that diff thats all dont think it was purchased off the shelf as such, make me and offer if you like ...
