Being as the standard actuator normally runs at 7psi through a controlled bleed valve, a bleed valve seems the cheapest and best option to me. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination, talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol On 20th Apr, 2012 Paul S said:
I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

You could try putting a little more preload on the actuator, you may get a little more boost. Would i do this by winding the actuator bar in towards the acuator or out? Shorten the actuator rod. |

Again, a rolling road would be the best solution to getting the needle right.
In the 13's at last!.. Just |

Had a little tinker today, have fitted the single box maniflow system, which sounds the nuts. Also shortened the actuator bar which has increased the boost to 6.5psi then after 4000rpm the E.C.U operates the bleed valve still and increases it to 7.5psi.

Standard plugs will be fine. I run 20psi with them in mine. |

Yes. Though i know most other people have had to go colder, and as a rule you generally do on a tuned motor. But mine kept fouling the 7's when pottering round town etc. Changed to the 6's still with 20psi and it's been fine. |
