Bugger, forgot about that one. That makes 5 engine projects.

Oh dear! you are a hopeless case, I see shades of myself in your aquisition of never to be finished projects.
The problem is that at the point of aquisition they are Oh! so viable but a month later they start to become a burden.

Watch out carl There is a new me, ruthless axing of my projects and finishing one at a time,I, like paul just need to curb my imagination and concentrate on what is realistic and possible.
Hope you are OK and ready for the season.

i think compared to what a lot of peolpe spend on thier interests , thats not a huge expence paul , and also if it were an obsession ,you wouldnt be admitting it lol.
i do wonder if selling al oad of stuff ,and wrapping up other stuff so you cant see it ,would help to focus on one thing .
on the plus side , you have an enthusiasm outside of work , you talk to your family ,and you all seem to get on ,that all seems pretty rare in todays spoilt child syndrome world ,so perhaps the benefits of your interests go far deeper than you realize .?

I have an obsession too, but a lack of money prevents full undertaking of this. My real problem normally involves ideas for projects or helping other people with theirs and letting them pay for it. Work helps with this, working on irreplaceable old f1 cars and the boss's american toys. However, i do one day want to build my rx8 engined lotus exige, a blown hemi powered 1929 chopped and channeled ford model a sedan, 1967 mustang fastback, 1969 camaro ss w/454 alloy big block crate motor, 1932 ford hiboy roadster, 1927 ford model a pickup rat rod and 1987/8 buick grand national/gnx and of course the blown k twinky motor for the min. So a lottery win should see most of it but will still be obsessed!!

Bump.

Still looking.

Things are getting worse. Now have six Minis and a K1200 head.

Three are currentlt roadworthy. Five of them are driveable, although two don't currently have screens in *happy*

Plan to MOT all six this year.
