Sprocket, im sure no-one gives a shit on the exact wording, "offset" and "handed" give the same sort of impression to me, as im sure they do for other people.

Perhaps answering the guys question is all that needs to be done instead of being a tad petty.

That pic shows how the rods go on your crank, you can see the different shapes to them, with the offset sides pointing INWARDS on rods 1 and 4, and OUTWARDS on 2 and 3.

If you plonk the crank into position and look down the bores, you will be able to see that the crank journals are offset to the bores, it will be clear to see which rods need to go where.
