That thing NEEDS a carbon dizzy cap (and if he does it, I want my door handles cheaper) This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting. |

Awesome car, I used to work on Harrier jumpjets and there 80% carbon bodied... Since then I've had a carbon fetish!! Lightweight racer coming soon. |

I doubt it'll be that light, it doesn't look like that much has been taken out of the shell.

Anyway i'm never that impressed with massive budget builds, i'd be more impressed with something done to a high standard on a small budget. makes the whole car more interesting and new ideas appear:) Yes i moved to the darkside |

But isn't it going to be a demo vehicle for his business? Which if I'm not mistaken is selling carbon parts...... On 15th Jul, 2009 fastcarl said:

It'd be even lighter if he'd used prepreg! This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting. |

you sir are correct, it generally damages the carbon fibe or scratches what ever it hits, i would advise people to change steel pannels for carbon fiber ones that does make it lighter :)

Just throwing carbon fibre at something does not make it light. Drives

if he's resin infusing, and charging those prices, i'd be pretty sure its epoxy!
