the diff is possibly sold, so the gearbox is now down to £450, surely a bargain for an unused SCCR?!?!

Mike with regards to the short block. What work has been done to the block itself , cam bearings etc, is the cam included? are the crank and rods unused since having the work done. Does the clutch include flywheel and backplate and who were they made by (hoping its MED)?Really as much info as you can provide please.

no probs, i'll give all the info i can remember... The block is unused since all the work was done. All the bearings were changed, the Avonbar phase2 cam is included, the crank assembly including crank pulley, flywheel and backplate were all balanced together and had some material removed to help lighten, they are not ultra light or MED super duper ones. The crank itself had some lightining carried out, again nothing major and the crank blades were lightened a bit. The aim was to create a better balanced lightened block using mainly standard parts, tweaked. A two bolt centre strap has been fitted too. The pistons are according to a file i just found on the PC, Powermax 21251 +20 thou 8.4cc dished. A new Metro Turbo high pressure oil pump was fitted, and a Piper Vernier timing chain, also sourced from Avonbar. Orange clutch fitted. Obviously it is 20+ overbore, and was skimmed, 11 studded and the stud holes were slightly chamfered i think to help prevent gasket damage or something.

I cant think of anything else right now, what have I missed?

Only reason for sale of all my stuff is that I now have a C20XE to fit instead.

Head has gone, so have the drops, diff, gearbox and most of the other stuff.

Cooper S rods shotpeened and balanced.
Dished Powermax 21251 pistons.
Lightened (slightly), balanced and bladed crank.
Avonbar Phase 2 cam.
2 Bolt centre main strap.
Lightened (slightly) and balanced flywheel.
Lightened (slightly) and balanced backplate.
Orange springless clutch.
11 Stud block.
Duplex vernier chain.

If somone wants to take it off my hands for £500 (either collected from worthing or oxted), then please PM me, 500 is my lowest. Includes flywheel housing and wok. Please note after looking at the engine closer at the weekend, it has a broken bolt kit fitted and the offset adaptor for the breather.

my apologies for those still waiting for parts, i've shipped most of them and have a few left to ship. I've just been flat out with work on the road and having to break the engine in a garage with a torch by the time i get home!
I've managed to scrounge some strong boxes for the heavy stuff and will be sending the rest over the next day or so.

I haven't recived my bits yet, but from chatting via pm he seams a top bloke, he said it would be posted 2weeks ago today, starting to get a tad worried but I will give it another week before getting to arsey. A combination of the royal snail, busy work and other problems we all come across could easly explain this delay.

I sent a pm on the 4th of feb I belive and last post i have seen from him was the 3rd. I think I should have his emil from the paypall transfer so I will drop him some mail later, as it seams to me he just hasent being on the sight for a wile. but may look diffrent from your point of view.
