Yep the JB Camira is nearly identical to Vauhall Cavalier (say a mid 80's model). Deffinately worth a try to check out brakes. Used the same engines too I think. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

well it's been quite a while, last year was a little busy, moved house and started renovations, hopefully this year will be a little less frantic so i hav more time to work on the mini, anyway, cars painted, subframes are rebuilt and powdercoated with all new bushes, bearings, balljoints the lot, made up a dizzy hole plug, got my crank, rods, pistons, flywheel machined and ballanced, baught an orange dot diaphram, triggor wheel is machined, and baught all the parts needed for megajolt, center main strap is made, carbie has been rebuilt and now im up to running fuel lines, i'v track'd down an injection style tank, and i'v spent the last 2 days trying to find the correct fuel pressure regulator, i now think i have the right one but would appreciate a second oppinion, i'll throw up a couple pics of it, it's a malpassi, the part number i was told is MRM2T, it has 8mm OD barbs on it and is a progressive regulator. If you wana check out the rest of my pics they'r on

If the oil can't escape and return from the turbo and it is still being feed by oil under pressure then the oil has to escape somewhere... usually through the piston rings causing a smokey turbo! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Thats good idea but i end'd up returning the oil about 50-60mm higher than the last picture, i think it should work out ok, if i fry the turbo im not too worried, i talkd to the blokes from GCG and they said they do a ball bearing conversion to the same model turbo i have for around $1000, so next time round (if there is one) i'll set up a remote sump with the ball bearing turbo i think! all a bit far off atm, thanks for looking.
