I run my standard mini tripple clock streight from the edis and it works fine. Wil does the same and it only works over 2000rpm, or if the heater fan is on. The hillclimber is from the Edis too and is fine. I have not personally had much luck with the diode technique and a mate in the end got his revcounter recalibrated to a 2 cylinder and runds it off one coil of the coil pack.

ok if i beat myself with a large stick and recite the words " i WILL take more notice of wiring diagrams" 100 times, will that make amends for getting the saw and pip wires back to front??
im a fking mupet. ive checked them half a dozen times against my little diagram i had drawn out and they were right, turns out my diagram was wrong! anyway its up and running nicely! thanks for all the help, much apreciated. will bring a pack of the corner shops best beer to avon for you all! a 6 pack too, not one of them crappy little 4 packs! *tongue*

lol hey up forgot about this thread! yeah got to say im well impressed with the jolt, its still not properly mapped but its drivable enough and never fails to start first time which is unheard of with one of my cars!!
ive come to the conslusion that the engines a bit too much for the car its housed in to be honest. its only running 10ish psi and its pulling things apart left right and center, anyway to cut a long story short ive finaly got off my arse and started work on the old miglia i got off iain. everything is stripped off it, the worst of the dents are filled out, and the front bulkhead and floorpan are painted i'll hopefully get the rest of the shell itself done this week and then i'll post up a few pics in the other section. *happy* it wont be concours but bollocks its just a trackday car so no need to be perfect. if it looks doable i'll make the full swap before avon and i'll bring it down, if not i'll leave it in the clubby and bring that, one way or another im bringing a turbo mini down to play with!

but yeah thumbs up to the jolt, i highly recomend it!

cheers to alexf2003 he's made a great job of the jolt *wink*
