I run my standard mini tripple clock streight from the edis and it works fine. Wil does the same and it only works over 2000rpm, or if the heater fan is on. The hillclimber is from the Edis too and is fine. I have not personally had much luck with the diode technique and a mate in the end got his revcounter recalibrated to a 2 cylinder and runds it off one coil of the coil pack. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

ok if i beat myself with a large stick and recite the words " i WILL take more notice of wiring diagrams" 100 times, will that make amends for getting the saw and pip wires back to front??

it wont be concours but bollocks its just a trackday car so no need to be perfect. if it looks doable i'll make the full swap before avon and i'll bring it down, if not i'll leave it in the clubby and bring that, one way or another im bringing a turbo mini down to play with!
