steve , what to do is this , make your bolton area twice as long , put a hole in it big enough for the sensore to slide through then bolt it down ..then it cant go up down or even roundbout ,and all you have to do is make a bit a little longer and make one more hole ,and then no need for an ally backing piece ,so cheaper too!! *smiley*

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

Steve, your 15 posts into the forum and mostly we have hard the hard sell on youe new kit,,
if i tried this tack on any other car board i'd be shot down ,

show a little restraint , there are vtwo to three foldk on here already supplying what needed to go managment, i personally don't think we need another , especially one who pops up from nowhere selling his ware .

carl

I've never met you Carl so wont judge, but you sound like a right arrogant prick sometimes.

Reading this has pissed me off a bit, the guy is planning on making some bits for people in the "community" to buy, just as Tom is with his wheels/sensor brackets, and JF with his modded I/C pipes.

Why can't Steve do what he wants and be allowed to sell what he makes like other people on here, without being pummled with what I would class as insults.

If you think what he's making is shit, then how is it a risk to the other people selling the same sort of bits? Leave it up to other people to decide which is a better buy, and don't comment at all. If you feel the need to say anything, perhaps constructive criticism wouldn't go amiss.

Fair enough you seem to be a professional with regards to the bits you make, and you have a great car, but it doesnt really give you the right to completely kane people willy nilly.

It's a bit childish really, me and my mates conkers are bigger and harder than anyones, so you can fuck off with yours.

Rich, i like to think of myself as more a wanker than arrogant, i am a lot less ignorant these days than 10 years ago,so you lucky in that respect. but i think you need to have a re read of my posts , you'll not find one work of criticism of Steve D product,
i only ever had a problem with the method of sale, if i'm not mistaken i think steve D has made about 6 posts that are not selling, he has not even bothered to post in the new users section, this would have been a good place to start off on the right foot,

i'n sure that there are others feel the same as me , just they dont feel confident enough to air there views,

there is no need to make reference to any of my work, if i was in a different position to the one i'm in now, none technical ability, i would like to think i'd still have a beef with the OP.

And thank's to Rod for having the brains to realise my origional problem with the OP, good to see someone noticed,

The one thing I like about TMs is that it is independent and not sponsored by a supplier. Most of the other forums you would never be allowed to post something like this for sale.

I agree with Rod and James on this one...

It would be unfortunate for people to start registering just to post their stuff for sale... but who knows someone might actually have something cool that I would want...

I just dont see what the problem is. Even if he had only 1 post.

Only good can come out of someone posting stuff for sale, other people may need the item forsale. If you dont, then dont reply.

Even if other people allready make an item thats simular, its always good to have different options, alternatives and suppliers.

Im sure if you wanted to buy a jiblet. And jimmy_563 makes his first post, selling a jiblet, you wouldnt complain.

Well done carl for not going off the rails on this one... Rich I met carl 2ish yrs ago and im still very good friends with him. Ive met lots of interesting people through the mini game but Carl has been one that i have stuck with and that says alot about his character; as arrogance is once thing i truly hate. I choose my friends very carefully (Benross taught me that). He has a good point as a Very recent post regarding a "mini forsale" came up and they got attacked. Just because this item is of interest doesnt make the seller any different from anyone else.

Im not saying peeps who come on here purely to sell shouldnt, im just sticking up for a good friend.

Mike over and out.

No worries my man! I just think us Turbo Miniers should stick together. Attacking each other isnt the answer.

I can appreciate who you're friends with Mike and who you know, and it wasn't a personal attack at Carl by any means. Like you said you know Carl and I dont, so its not my place to start slagging people off and that wasnt my intention, I just think things are a little unfair is all.

Its just the same, no-one knows who Steve is, trying to sell the bits so why not give him the benefit of the doubt? Certainly doesn't deserve being insulted, which personally if I was him I would be insulted by the way some have approached this whole thing, but fair enough, he has come on to the forum with little other contribution and has advertised his bits, can be frowned upon but it's not really the end of the world, is it?

I have to say that I have been insulted by some of the comments, and felt like TM is being run by a cartel.
Just because I have not been to biggest poster in the world does not mean that I have not been part of TM over the last year. I have been coming onto this forum and became a member 7 months ago, and enjoyed reading about your projects and and all your ideas.

Thanks to the people who have shown a little support.
