The flange looks the same as a gt17, I'm happy to try one out on my manifold, but if its that much bigger its likely that the flange may need to be moved to clear the compressor housing.

exhaust side inlet flange? its a t2 same as the gt17 but the gt17 inlet hole is round

its easy enough to bang one in the post. cost me 25 quid to send a whole head to demnark.

I have no idea how id coordinate it, id imagine easiest thing to do is pay over the phone with my parts department! But lets just finalise things first :) ta

so to give an ide of the comparison of the gt17 to the 20 , I found nicks graph from the dynocom rolling rd at smarts , and also gary's car ,which I think im correct in saying hS A GT17 AND THE SAME PH 2 CAM AS NICKS ?oops.then put on plot on top of the other ..





looking at the pk torque , im guessing at around the same boost , but I don't know about the head porting differences .or what capacity the two engines are .

I can put up the bhp graph as well , I did not put up my engine with its gt17 because it has a different cam , but I can stick it on if you want .

it looks like the 20 is good for top end and comes in around 1k rpm later .

bear in mine the dynocom rr makes a bit of a hash of the rpm measurement , and so this is for comparison ,not accurate numbers .

oh and this graph is torque at the wheels .

Interesting, and you are correct Robert. GT17 and Ph2.

Go on put yours on. It'd be good to see the difference.

What boost what Nick running there? I think the most I used on the day was 16psi the first two runs were on 9-10psi. I whimped out because I'd blown the head gasket 2 days before when setting it up at uncle rays.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Nick's engine was also pretty tired IIRC. I also seem to recall this dyno run was on his old head? Sure he will confirm if/when he sees this. :)

yup, the smart dyno run was on my old knackered head. that run was probably 15psi, ph2, 1293cc

here's a few more I have knocking around. Can't seem to find my last one from the RR day in wellingborough at the minute though.

The GT2056 is an excellent turbo, but up to 200hp, the GT1752 is probably a better bet.

Spool up data from something I created earlier:


BTW my estimate for spool up of the GT1752 is near identical but is based on guess work as the official Garrett data is unavailable.
