Is there any risk with this being a wasted spark. i.e. firing on number 4 at the same time as 1 and there being fuel still in there. Just a thought. Bit new to the mini scene so excuse my ignorance

Nope - many many engines run this as standard.

Ford use to say it helpped with emissions as it reduced HC emissions! Not sure I agree it does however!

Alex, can you supply a complete kit? ie with coil pack, trigger wheel, sensors, wiring etc? If so, can you give me a complete price, and also how quick could you get it to me>

Are you supplying instructions with these, i.e. for where to put the sensors etc.... I'm not a novice when it comes to working on cars, but I HATE ignition systems with a passion!
