heavy stuff that

just to clarify do you weld up the seams on the inside before or after you chop off the seams on the outsside?

tom-theres not too much filler in there, well a bit, though most of the stuff i put on has been sanded off

yep stonechipped the front and rear ones, and all of underneath-i like stonechipping its fun!!!

brocky-what would mini turbo crisis be like?? i dont have sky and havent heard of it
those pesky runs!! i did some flatting down this afternoon of them, ive got a late start tomorrow some im going to attempt to paint the bulkhead again and in the boot, its all masked off ready to go

i started playing with the doors this evening, my hands have sprouted a few cuts from where i previously had hacked out some inner areas

yes, weld up the insides of the seams where you can get to. do 6" or so, miss another 6", grind off the areas that youve done, and then weld the rest and grind away

I've been struggling with enthusiasm for mine as well, but things are looking better this year.

What system are you using with the paint? base and laquer or topcoat?

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

ah ha, an edit with pics

lots of masking up today, crumbs!!!! it now looks like a christmas present

this took me hours and hours to do, and there will probably be loads of overspray inside still

and then gave it a hefty primer fillering

its tipped up so i can paint the roof with my monkey like arms

its not looking too bad-except for a slight f-up with a reaction around the door hinge area-but i think this is down to painting over some red that i put in this area yesterday

hopefully it wont react when the red is going over the primer, it didnt when i used the same stuff to paint the old front
