You've done the right thing, the way I see it is your driving and enjoying your house deposit rather that it sitting there and generating about 0.01p interest per year. The Elise won't depreciate much more surely so you'll get the most of it back if you sell. Now you can say you have a light, petite girlfriend called Elise!
