For those of you who can't decide what level boost to run or are developing your engine in stages....

I just bought one of a new line from Avonbar today

Adjustable modified wastegate actuator.

Apparrently Ian sold a few at the mini meet this weekend, and has released to general press today.

The unit uses a compound spring which allows the unit to be adjusted between 4 to 28 PSI.

and only a few quid more than the previous models from those guru's at Avonbar.

He's been working on some new needle profiles too.

£72 GBP including Turbominis discount compared to 62 for the earlier ones.

The reason I got one is because I gonna run standard CR on BP ultimate (102 RON octane) at 8 PSI, and then 10 PSI once I've got my cosworth intercooler installed.

Following the completion of my hi boost head (8.4:1 CR), cam etc I can run what I want and buy a needle to suit. Just saving for the clutch mods and cross pin 110/ 80 minispares diff.

Its not on their website or at least i cant find it lol, 1212 members and they didnt tell us lot about a new turbo product....

I think thats what it said in the leaflet I read....

But If not I read that Millers CVL Turbo, when added to optimax it gives you 101.4 ?

I must admit I have only been basing my calcs on static cr's and not effective tho, will have to get the det cans out to be sure...*happy*

expensive though but it works
