Same as old 5 Star.

A slightly cheaper option, and easier to find option would be Tesco's 99 Octane & Valve Master plus.

looks good but I've always had good results with optimax and its a "reasonable" price! - I'm going to set the bimmer twinki up for E85 biofuel (110 octane) later in the year as the local Morrisons stocks it - result!

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

I read a feature on fuels a few months back. They tested unleaded, super unleader, tesco 99RON, Optimax and BP102.

They used a porsche boxster (I think), BP102 gave good power increase, so did the optimax apart from that the others actually gave a lower power figure!

IMHO optimax has got to be the best compromise between cost, availability and effectiveness. :)

I have literally just read an article in this months EVO, they tested a 996 GT3 on regular bp ultimate and 102.

Made 380hp on the rollers on the normal stuff, switched to 102 and it made 410hp, then they remapped it and ran again on 102 and made 430hp!

Expensive stuff though, i'd be inclined to run V-power which is supposedly out now and top it up with octane booster. The millers stuff has been recommended to me by KAD as the stuff to use....
