if you are having trouble getting your temp display running with the car running you need this item 5amp 5volt regulator.....lm1084....

i got a bag of 10 of those sent to me from a chap over on MF, they worked for a while but then stopped again, although i think i may have fried it as i only mounted it on a small bit of ally.
