Hi, not 100% sure on this but I think if you put a test meter on the two outside pins (1 and 3 if you like) where the original metro loom plugged in (test meter set to continuity test) and rotate slowly you shouldbe able to when rotating the drive spindle, find a point in every 90 degree incriments where u can pick up a circuit between the pins, but will only momonterilly (like a pulse, (possibly easier to determin with a meter that beeps when you have continuity) I have a vague memory of testing a dizzy last year when i couldn't get a spark, but the dizzy turned out not to be at fault. Also think I read an article or was told by someone that you only need to take a live to it, not live and earth? Have you tried turning it over with the earth on the dizzy disconected? I might be barking up totally the wrong tree or even in the wrong wood, but bells are ringing (or it might just be the ringing in my ears)

Hi,
As far as I know there only 2 way to test the module....
1 Ignition module tester, yes there is such a thing, but costs £££££
2 Try a module on it you know works, or try yours on a working car.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I think I need one of these.

Where did you get one for £27?
