The so called " qualified engineer" hasn't even countersunk the holes for the 1st maincap.

I'm not sure if the standard backplate is countersunk? Let me check on my backplate....

The two holes that aren't studded are instead clearance holes. This is because you have full access to the rear of the plate to use a nut.

LOL no worries! I've spent a long time weighing up the options - and although studs were considered - it's still something I'm supplying that the end user can screw up by overtorquing. A nut and bolt that I don't supply is his/her problem - and easilly sortable if they do use a 1/2" breaker bar to tighten them... :) On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:
