Shell shock!

The shell I was going to use for my turbo project was the body I kept from my '88 jet black after I reshelled her into a herritage shell in 2004, back then she didint seem to bad, Spent the last few evening out in the garage with the grinder and the mig working on the shell, found it had patch after patch, 3 floors and multiple sills, the rot was so bad it has lefrt nothing to weld new pannels to. so now my project has taken a huge jump backward Has anyone a solid shell they are looking to sell, if so please contact me, it would be most appreciated.

I think 88 was a bad year,my 82 is way more solid

I know on fords D reg was a bad year due to steel shortage,so they used cheapo imported stuff(or something like that)

Metro turbo weekend driver,Mini turbo in the making again!

Thanks all for the help, Think 88/89 was a bad year, one the other minis I had sat on my drive a few years back was the same year and that looked like mine now does, nowonder I reshelled it in 04, the old w plate one I broke a while back was in better nick, now regrettin scraapin it. A mini minus, think thats the way forward?
