Does anyone know what car this has come from? i have been looking on the web for a while but can find any info.

Yeah.. wasn’t sure, do you think its for a servo? also no connection for pedal at the bottom.. can this be added?

anyone know what the black tag relates to (as appose to the yellow??)

shit, dunno, didnt spot the lack of the clevis hole. the later servo ones are horizontal, so the reservoir would be the other way.

pretty sure it's a metro unit - the servo axis is vertical in these... Not many other cars are like that of the austin-rover era that used that type of cap.

Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Pretty sure its for metro fitment as the servo mount underneath it, hence the lack of a clevis hole.

Look the same as the MGF too. The master cylinder sits on the servo and a pin pushes the master cylinder up.

I had to change one last week and it was a joy. No faffing about in the pedal box.

Hi,
I heard the MGF was mostly metro parts? IE metro front subframe at either end.....
The yellow tag looks the same as the one on a '99 Mpi Mini, so it maybe MGF....

My metro turbo (88-89) has the black band round it too,I just noticed today
