I have an MBC that came with my turbo. I have been reading up to make sure I install it right but have a question. All of the MBCs I have seen have an inlet and outlet only , but mine has a third hose. I know how to hook up the first two, but any idea what the third is for? Is it vent to air? Thanks

Are you sure it is an MBC, sounds like a bleed valve to me.... post a pic of it if you can.

that just looks like a bleed valve rather than an mbc mate. connect your actuator line to the 2 outer pipes and leave the centre one to vent to atmosphere.

That makes much more sense. Thanks. Now this mystery part I have, http://www1.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/Al...526/t_=70419526, could it be for setting up something like i read in another thread

"if you block the outlet pipe with a solenoid valve you can switch from standard boost to what ever you set the bleed valve to in the flick of a switch"

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

IF.... you block the outer pipe with a solonoid valve

you are in effect blanking the signal line

in effect your actuator would see no pressure, your actuator would not open
