Hi all,

This winter the mini is coming off the road and is going to be done up a bit as it's starting to look tatty. I want to put a flip front on it but am unsure weather to go for steel or fibreglass which ones would anyone reccommend?

Also i want to go from 13inch wheels to 10inch wheels has anyone done this? How would i go about changing the arches from sportpack to ones for 10inch wheels as obviously the wings have been cut to accept the 13inch wheels. Would i be able to weld a plate in and cut a new arch at the rear of the car?

Hope i make sense

Thanks matt

Hi,
On the rear you just need to remove the sportpack arches and weld / fill the 4 bolt holes left behind.
Then fit you favourite 10" arches, job done.
As you're fitting a flip front, the front is already done for you!
Cheers,
Gavin :)
