Well took the car out for a good drive tonight tripled the milage up to about a 100 now lol

heard a few things fall of but everything seems to still work so its all cool

glad to here mate hopr the box feels great, it may feel a bit notchy untill the baulk rings bed in.

hows the bonnet now did you get that sorted or did you put on another one.

picked up anpther one it was just to damaged to save

lol its not a mini if you dont hear things fall off, its so funny when theres a passanger too... "what was that!¬!??" dunno? probibly a bolt or something. "what off this car?!?" yeah... "well arn't you gonna stop?" nah stuffs always falling off it, it'll be reet...
they dont often get back in it then its always just a nut thats fallen down on to the subby and not been retrieved, they dont know that tho hehehe

well disaster has struck

been out today with some local friends to do photos of all our cars

my started jammed so we give it a few rocks while i was sat in the car it freed and i bumped it, mate shut the bonnet and i forgot about strapping it down

so have now wiped out bonnet number 2 in less than 10 days lol, put a guage in the roof this time though as it ripped clean off the hinges

only have myself to blame for this one!

everytime ive been working on the mini for a few months, the noises i hear of things falling off are the spanners and bolts down the back of the front subframe!!!

well new bonnet is being painted tomorrow

i have done what i have always said i would not do ... fit bonnet pins normal at front locking at rear

have loads of touching up to do now
