Hi

Is anyone here planing on going there? its in denmark, the same place as the roskilde music festival.

No, it's not in Denmark. The Danes couldn't get it to happen on Whitsun (sp?) weekend, which apparently is a must for IMM. Instead it will be held near Hamburg, organised by a German club that did it a few years ago as well.
Anyway, I'll be there:)

I was at the IMM Poland President's meeting and I hadn't been drinking, so trust me: Germany it is. The Danes knew that IMM's are always held at Whitsun weekend, yet they just told us that they couldn't do it, but had to move it a week or two. This was found unacceptible by the other presidents, especially since the Danes didn't bother to defend themselves in person (they didn't show up at this IMM at all). The fact that the link is still up is strange to say the least.

i was thinking about going but i only get 3 weeks holiday from work and can't justify using 2 of em to do the IMM properly.

As far as i was aware they'd moved the venue to roskilde and the dates are 26th-29th July

Check your source, lots ahve happened since IMM in Poland after what I have hear. I will get Søren to chime in. He is one of the guys arranging IMM in Denmark.

I have to say IMM is always Whitsun weekend - the only time it is allowed a different date is when it is in the UK every fifth year when usually August

IMM is in Denmark, the official site is www.imm2007.org it is the only IMM in 2007.
The date was announced when we applied in Spain and we got the IMM, in Polend someone said that it could not be another date and the Germany should have it insted, but because we had announced it when we applied at the IMM2005 in Spain so it has been known from the start the IMM2007 IT IS IN DENMARK, from the 26 to 29 July,
There is a German club that is making a Mini Meeting in the Whitsun weekend, but that is not an International Mini Meeting just a Mini Meeting as they also say on their website and the invitation I got when I was in Oldenburg...

Hope that cleared it up and know one is in doubt that IMM2007 is in Denmark

Nic, if you take the ferry from harwich, its not that long in denmark (from esbjerg to roskilde).

Roughly 170miles from the ferry according to MultiMap

ok, I'll admit to being wrong: Andre's right: it's Denmark allright, not Germany. Still quite confused tho. So much for President's Meetings anyway. I hope to have at least one of my 4 current minis up and running by then

Now that I am on "TurboMinis" don't be afraid of speeding on the way to IMM2007 in Denmark, we have very good traffic signs that you can not miss :p
