Im currently sorting my loom out for MJ, but have just realised the pin for the tacho is missing. Ive read this thread

Just drill it out and connect it directly to the tacho. However, it does not work on all rev counters, but without trying you won't know.

i was wondering weather somone has tried using a classic smiths revcounter with megajolt, and could say if it worked or not?

if the rev counter is fine with a square 12V wave it will be fine with the EDIS signal. I dont know how the signal from the megajolt box behave, but it is probably not more voltage at least... |

My smiths one didnt work with megajolt. The diode thing doesnt look too hard though.
