I am thinking of selling a used complete turbo gearbox with diff and FW Housing.

Its the 5626 A+ gearbox with the prefered 3-bolt retainer, and larger idler bearings, hence needs to have turbo specific FW housing.

How much would the 2 be worth?, they are in good working condition?

Oh I also have a set of standard drops with just 20k on them.

Cheers

Guys

honestly i wouldnt give any more for a spare box that needs rebuilding.

any odd spare casings etc are worth keeping.

didnt think it mattered what flywheel housing you used as long as you used the correct bearing, the shaft is still the same?

Maybe just keep it as a spare then,*smiley*

Isn't the od of the bearing that sits on the end of the first motion shaft in the FW Housing bigger ?

I found this when I was tring to get hold of a replacement fw housing, the normal a+ 1275 wouldn't fit over the bearing?

Anyway once I got a turbo one it was fine.

Yep, see what your saying.

I guess BL put a bigger bearing in just to be on the safe side for the turbo motors. *smiley*

Anyway, whats the difference between the standard turbo repair kits and the uprated ? is it somthing to do with the thrusts ? How much are the kits ?
