Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

if these are genuine rover pistons these will make the grade

you could reduce the compression ratio via the route of the combustion chamber to get to a sane level for turbo application performance wise

I would love to see the postage on that, last time I ordered an indicator/wiper stalk assembly from Minisport it cost £21 but I was quoted £35 on postage!?!

Well if they are Rover items and have the ring pack then they are a bargin to my mind. Obviously only for people like me wanting to do a fairly high comp / low boost build for road manners.

Might order some, might actually be cheaper to get Princess Anne to bring them down for me though, after all she is likely to be passing over New Year... LOL

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Hi,
Jimmy .. With 9.4:1 you should be able to squeeze 10 psi in there, as long as it's well setup. Preferably with mapped ignition... Intercooler also essential.
I'm planning on 10 psi into my stock MPi engine...
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Can always take a bit out of the head to get it around high 8s or 9 with easy.

I think that if you know your only planning a torquey motor not a bannana tree they should be ok.

Anybody know how think the crown is???

If your not into big bananna`s and you haven`t alot of money,a cheap fun engine of around 8 psi , i`d go for it. To lower the compression use two head gaskets , a+ head studs or ARP (BETTER) .
Think about it your not on boost all the time....
Intercooler is a cheap insurance ....
Im running two head gaskets with ARP studs ( and was told it wouldn`t work , don`t do it etc) but it lowered compression and has worked .Avonpark 2005 , Saxo, corsa scoobies hunting on a saturday night....lol.

Untill i can afford a good t-head it is a cheap option and im on the road in stead of in the garage dreaming.....

Or worse still ...having to sell my dream....

I know , i know im sorry , it just makes me grin !!!

Intercooled 1293 cc Turbo +
March 06,4psi and counting .
Its now gone up to 8psi.
Nov 06,10psi +.
And now part of the Airbourne club.
