With the success of the last Turbo mini, we are just getting ready to start the next. I have a "G" plate Mayfair, which will not be modified quite as heavily asthetically as the one just finished but I want to pay a bit more attention to the power unit.
Incidentaly we got back from Italy with no problems, barring an Iced up carb. We did 2876 miles, then 100 miles down the road, on the way to Malvern mini show, one of the back wheel bearings gave up.
Anyhow, the next project is to be funded by myself rather than Dad. This means I get to say what is being done.
I am looking to get about 120 HP, possibly more depending on cost implecations. Or should I be setting my sights a little lower?
I have an option to buy a Maestro Turbo, would this be a good donor for the Turbo and auxillery parts? T3 with a 45 trim compressor wheel, 0.42 A/R housing, Turbine is 0.48 A/R housing. (which means very little to me)
I will be putting megajolt on it, a wide band lamda sensor, S/C gear box and drop gears.

Or do I go down the road of a supercharger?

Thoughts on the Maestro turbo parts would be appreciated.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I would of thought the maestro turbo would be worth more complete than it would cost to get the bits for a metty?

for what you want a T2 off a R5 would be a better bet, a nice road 120bhp.

Supercharger is up to you but i dont think you'd notice a massive amount of difference to a T2.
