Right, let me run this by you guys.

I have a 82 metro which runs points, i assume a car that early dosent have a ballested system (i will check the coil gets 12v but lets assume it does for now)

I have a Turbo dizzy which i belive is the later type with the modual on the side and nothing under the cap (except the rotor arm ofcourse!)

From what i gather from searching the forum the dizzy needs to run at 12v. Is that correct?

I also have one of these coils

Now im pretty sure its the correct one but do they need the run at 12v or do they use a ballast?

If they do run a ballast is there a coil i can get that will work with the electronic ignition but also at 12v?

Hi,
Coil and Dizzy should be 12v fed. Coil looks to be the right one. The wiring to the dizzy usually comes straight from the coil.
