I need to get a snd 1275 bottom pully machined in the 36-1 tooth arrangement asap.

I know tom does them but its a 4 week wait, and I cant really wait that long. Bud666 tried to get it done at a local place but they wanted 100quid.

any ideas?

Hi,
I bolted an Omex generic wheel to the standard pulley.
I used the two bolt holes already in the crank pulley with two spacers I knocked up. MPC in Walsall usually have the wheel in stock....
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi,
No doubt. But if I remember correctly they're about £30, although that was 2 years ago! Long before Toms pulleys were available.
When I do it again I'll be using one of Tom's, if it'll be possible on an MPi pulley...
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi,
Alex .. Probably, but I'll send it to Tom and see what he can do....
Gav .. I don't know why the offers haven't been taken up, so I thought i'd post up what I did *wink*

Please don't ask for dimensions as I've not got any, due to the use of make it up as you go engineering.
Basically Make up spacers and bolt wheel to the two holes as shown in the pulley photo.
Weld bracket to the steel bracket the engine mount bolts to. You may also need to modify the lower rad braket to give a little extra clearance. *wink*
I'd recommend drilling some large holes in the wheel to reduce it's weight / inertia.
Cheers,
Gavin :)
