Just thought i would start up a little page to show you my turbo project. Purchased in oct 05 in standard form 95' cooper spi. Within 1 month of ownership i had added full adjusta-rides, LCB manifold and stainless RC40, K&N, adjustable shocks, negative bottom arms and quickshift.
After about 11months of motoring the diff decided a hole was the way to go and gained 2, one at the bottom and one on top. So i thought it was time for a power upgrade and i purchased a new 1310 short motor with rebuilt box, jack knight sc drops and a 2.9fd. Ive started buying some more parts such as RS turbo intercooler, turbo box, rebuilt carb, dump valve, HD adj tie bars, 2 core radiator. Now im just saving up for everything else i need such as a head etc.

Cheers for the comments, cant wait to get it back on the road with the turbo lump.
It was fun before but god knows what it will be like with nearly twice the power.

I like nice quiet girly Minis

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

I like the classic arch + low stance look ... reminds me of my own car ... just not so green and a bit wider.

Nice motor....

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

thats a nice car there bud! the wheel & arche combo is spot on i think for a 12" wheel car, the camber on the 12's looks great, a grippy lil beasty by the looks of it, cheers for the offer of the compressor, thats super nice of you, i wish my compressor had broke rather than the threads in the donut on my car, oh well!!! i'm mulling over the deep dish rims myself in 10" as i'm into my 10" wheels, be nice with a turbo motor, i'm yet to buld mine but will hopefully have it done for avon park, keep the updates coming

I was thinking of down sizing to 10's and classic styling but i like the 12's .It seems that everyone who sees it says it looks awesome with the wide arches and deep dish 12's.
Just purchased a 13 row oil cooler, steel duplex timing gear, grooved discs and a good old set of track rod ends from MIN-ITS.

MIN-ITS is a good place, i've used them alot, i think the 12's are more practical with the speed bumps 'n' crappy roads, your wheel & arch combo is defo just right! 12's handle & ride nice too! i have to get arches for my car as my wheels stick out & i dont have arches, whats your plans for this car ja1987??? youve obviously got the handling part & looks sorted

I want about 130bhp 1310 motor for now, running T3, 10-12psi, RS turbo intercooler, super cool rad, dump valve and bleed valve. I cant decide on the interior or body panels at the moment tho.

I need to replace the A panels, wings, front panel, repair/replace scuttle panel and ive got a dent in the bootlid as well. I will fit a flip front but i dont know wether to use steel, carbon fibre or fibre glass panels.

Im unsure about the interior though, i will definately have a cage and harnesses but i dont know wether to strip it and have 2x buckets or keep the interior and a stereo etc.

Im liking the styling, TBH I would get rid of them cooper stripes though, spoils the retro look!

What arches are they? Ive got similar ones but they don't go quite as far under at the back. Mine are smashed to fuck and I think those ones look much better. *wink*

Hi,
Try Benross for a head, comes with a free bacon buttie (according to reports).
Can't get better service than that!
Cheers,
Gavin :)
