A friend of mine at work is curently building a 3 giant turbo-based jet engined kart ..... he's a nutter but apart from that a great guy.
Every day is a school day ...........

Well i was in the understanding that if the motive force was in the form of a hot jet of gas shooting out the back, its a jet turbine, if on the other hand, the hot gas is used to drive a turbine that is fixed to a shaft to drive a gearbox, for instance, then this is a gas turbine.
