good luck finding one, if i were you id double check minispeed really have one as they didnt last year when i was looking for one.

Someone suggested that you can double bush the 1275 gear.

its the bushes that are nla, iirc moss had a handful left last year, but i think they will all be gone now...?

yeah just spoke to morspeed and what they do is they use a 998 bush and put that inside the 1275 bush, simon says he does that with all the racers so we will see!

Are we talking about the "floating" bush or the standard pressed in bush?

If it's the pressed in standard bush as long as the fit between the bushes is Ok (ie. A press fit with one bush inside the other) it should be fine.
If it's two floating bushes I would do a bit of research first. You could finish up with a bearing interface which is not steel/ bronze/ steel as designed. If one of the two bronze bushes picked up on the crank or inside the idler it would be a steel/ bronze/ bronze interface. this might not be ideal.
By far the best solution would be to source the correct material and turn a few properly sized bushes and sell a few on as there will be more people in the same situation as you.
I would buy a couple for a start.

Dave

Cant you just get a bush made to fit the 998 crank the old fashioned way?

i phoned them and they are gonna take my crank and the primary gear to the guy that makes there bushes to see if he can make one to suit!

so if all goes well i will have just the one bush in there!
