My engine is basically std bottom end/pistons with a 27cc head and 276 cam on about 10-12psi

I work out the cr of this bit I found

Std Metro Turbo(just for reference): 21.4(head)+2.8(gasket)+12(piston)+0.78(ring land)+1(deck)= 37.98cc
318.75+37.98/37.98=9.392CR

to be 8.3

Do I need to change the head for higher cr(try to get about 9:1) ,put a different cam in(have a phase2) or change to a T2 or T25 .Or will megajolt sort it out

After more drivability,at the moment it don't really go to 4000rpm then flys*smiley*

Edit forgot to mentio dizzy is std and at 16 degees at 1500rpm with no vac pipe(goes better without it)

Hi,
Changing any or all of the things you mention will improve drivability as well as fuel consumption.
However, I would first of all change to MJ as this will allow you to advance up the timing off boost.
This should improve the situation without rippping the engine to bits.
If after it's all setup and not to your liking then you'll have to look at changing one of the others as well.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I agree. The MJ/MS will make a differance and is worth fitting, but you won't suddenly have loads of power at 2000rpm.

For this I'd change the turbo. There is plenty of choice, but a R5 GT T2 is an easy to find, easy(ish) to fit solution.
