It's got to be good for stopping rust around the headlights and between wing/front panel seams. There was an article in Mini Mag ages ago about something similar.

Oh I just saw the price, £69 and reserve not met! Pfff.

Looks as though it blocks half the rad exit off.

That's Deriks Mini Centre of Mini Limo fame.

If you buythem at a show they are about £60 IIRC.

Can't use them with heavily cut front arches though ...

I looked at them for Candice's car but the cut arch thing and the fact I want to encourage her to properly jet wash it regularly put me off.

a-ha another jetwashing convert you r then rogerm, thats my method too! jack the lil bugger as high as possible on axel stands & do it on a satarday morn & leave it to dry then spray a lil wd-40 to disperse water from the crevices, then a lil waxoyl is what i do,

i thought they were good for the money for a standard daily driver, not a bad investment at all, its should only be a bit of modification to trim them for modded arches etc, as for the rad you could use some ducting hose from another postion to keep the temps down if it caused greaf

I'm not sure you could put a lip back on them in a tidy enough fashion for my liking if you trimmed them down!

plasic weld it back on or decent glue, i'm sure a join would'nt be seen under arches, its good these are available for l8r minis with internal hinges
