No,

I got the outside pair off ebay, a NOS boxed pair of lucas SFT700's from 1986

the inner pair i got from here. (really nice repro's, better than the originals infact!)

http://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/en/2188~d...chrome-details/

the lamp bar is a minispares stainless one, and i have fitted the lamps with 50W halogen bulbs.

Not a cheap setup but i REALLY wanted that works rally setup!

eventualy i want to get a set of cibie biodes in there to replace the headlamps too.

Ahh the plenum yees,

the port runners are 4 39mmx 70mm tubes tapering out at 5deg to 45mm (to match some stubstacks)

I got hold of 2 bits of tube to use for the plenum part, a bit of 3" and a bit of 4", the 3" gives a bit less room around the intakes than i'd like but the 4" only JUST fits under the bonnet, i guess i'll be looking for a bit of 3.5"...

I used some two pin connectors for each lamp for +ve -ve and wired everything up through the relays with a fused supply from the battery.

One thing you may way find as i found with the cibies, the light beams tend to dance around. I fitted some lamp stays from the bonnet slam panel to the top of the lamps. I made the stays from what could be classed as stainless jubilee clips. Light beams solid as a rock.

Put it this way, the gill rarely comes off, oil filter change is done from underneath.

Though it is still a fairly simple afair to remove the lamps, three bolts on the bar and four screws on the stays, unplug the lamps and its lamp free.

mmm, I was wondering about the "dancing"

my bracket is the stainless one which i get the impression might be a little bit stiffer, just have to see i guess, mind you with the roads here mini's are like driving a pogo stick so it may not notice.

I see you havent got round to the moustache ends either!

i know what you mean,

i can't decide whether to put them on or not, I kind of feel they "should" go on as its a mk1 despite whether the look good or not, anyway theres lots of stuff i need to worry about first!

not sure what you mean by that? there's one pair of fogs one pair of spots, not sure how i'll wire them yet, i'm thinking a 3 position switch where,

1= off
2 = fogs on with dip, fogs and spots on with main
3= off with dip on with main.

Id leave the side peices off if its a daily drive, they are expensive to replace and very easy to remove.
