I dont know ...
What direction does the oil flow


is it from block round filter then back up to the block (near the pressure valve )

or

from block ( above pressure valve ) to oil filter , through and back in


.. DUUUUUUURrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

first one?? from the filter then in the pipe and to the block; not this way, the oil flow come from the pump to the hole above the pressure valve to the pipe linking the oil filter and from this directly in the block .

oil comes up from the sump via the oil pick up pipe... then into the oil pump... throught the oil filter and then into the main oil gallery

From here it goes round the bearing and up to the head (at the same time, not one after the other).

so the hotest oil will be the oil coming out above the pressure valve ...

Kinda intersted in running 2 oil temp gaugues

just to see how much diffrence the oil cooler makes ...

I like pondering on strange things like this

I'd run one pre cooler and post cooler so you can see what the effect is :)

I know i know, im doing Vegards job but hey ho.

Ive fitted my remote oil filter and not thought about what direction the oil goes, guess what ive plumbed it in wrong (ive plumbed it in backwards), theyres an arrow indicating the direction pf the oil flow does it matter which was the oil goes through the filter?? If it does its gunna be a right pita?? Any thoughts would be great.

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Hi,
Yes it does matter as the larger area of the filter is on the outside so the oil needs to go in that way or it'll clog up real quick!
