Looking to buy a 1275 engine from our local scrappy mainly for educational purposes.

How do you tell the difference between an aseries and a+.

Any markings or similar?

Lol im used to fords, mainly pintos as there nearly all the bloody same!

Once youve seen both youll know straight away, but a simple guide is...

A:
Smoother block
Larger Alternator Bracket
Plate-like dizzy clamp

A+:
Horizontal and vertical ribbing on block
More compact alternator bracket
Fork like dizzy clamp
