Hi,
Yes a Hiab on a long flat bed truck will do that no problem. That's how the construction co. I used to work for got them out to the sites.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Not cheap to move about either.....

Often its almost cheaper to hire one, if its only for short periods

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

try calling your local container base they may know someone who can help.

think nearest to you would probably be felixstowe

well the major freight stations are southampton, felixstowe, thurrock, birmingham, manchester, liverpool.

therefore the freight station would generally know someone in your area that may be able to help.

Hi,
A plant hire place would probably have transport if they hire containers out...
A container base may not be too helpful as they don't usually have Hiabs on the trucks.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

robert 40ft container weighs just short of 4 ton, you require artic with a 12 metre trailer, plus a heavy hiab depending on reach of lift expect to pay aprox £50 a hour min charge 4hrs

Have a quick search of owner-drivers (artic obviously), some of them might be able to help you. We found a guy local to Brum when we needed to move the container that was used on for the model car club last year, cost £150 to move it 15 miles .... didn't think it was that bad. I'll look throught he docs to see if I still have the guys number..

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
