Well been away for the weekend, was going to go to Amsterdam but due to unforeseen circumstances i went to Lake district instead, have to say i had a cracking time and even managed to give a wide boy a driving lesson me in the pug him in a 330 coupe.... it was wet though so had an advantage with the pugs predictable handling, roads were fantastic and when you see a sign saying " 760 casualties in 5 years" you know its going to be a great driving experiance.
The View from my hotel balcony

Also caught up with the Malcom wilson rally that was being held in the cumbrian mountains, have to say waiting for a good photo while a rally car is going dead at you at full chat and not running away is pretty hard going, must have been hit on the head 5-6 times by flying stones

Roads were amazing but pretty dangerous, went up into the mountains, you can just about see the road winding though, the mountain roads are only 4 meters wide

Last one, this is top of a peak with a 1 in 3 drop on the only road in or out, i had already done the 1 in 3 climb

Obviously no ibiza but for a driving experience was simply superb, did 1080 miles in total and spent about £65 in lpg lol

Grizedale ... 6R4 .... kleenex ....

My two fav' rally icons ....

almost died in the killer kielder a few years back in a Gt4 ..... but Grizedale holds nothing but fond memories .. memories of fear but fond ones ... if that makes sense

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
