I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

Would use the oil you intend to run in the engine or a good quality engine builders oil ? Edited by Brocky on 6th Mar, 2007. BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

i use engine oil if its going to be runnig soon , or hypoy gear oil if its going to sit for a while . Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

I've always used a 20w50 oil or some grease if it's going to sit ... never had any problems Every day is a school day ...........

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

I always have a nice clean coffee tin at hand 1/2 full of 20/50 and "dunk" the piston before installing it.

I personally wipe bore with a paper towel dipped in oil and get a squirt from the oil can to the rings and piston skirt.
