Having just brought I box for the clubman last week I find these on ebay:

http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZbutterpoppyQQhtZ-1

I don't know what the quality is like, but there a bit cheaper than most.

:EDIT: I now know what the quality of the ones on ebay are like, and they're a dam sight better than a lot of the shop ones.

Near Lincoln

3kgs is probably about right i'd say with packing etc.

I seem to remember it being quite heavy.

Made 20 of these, but a reliable source from the turbo mini information bureau that deeper bulkheads are better. Need more info on how much.....I'll make a new improved batch....want to claim your freebie?

I'll make a deeper version for you. Say 25mm, use you as a guinea pig. Just let me know how you get on with it, and if there are any mods you think might make it easier.....okies?

When you say 'deeper' - do you mean closer to the ground or closer to the dash?

closer to the ground is definately an advantage. If you want to make something really sweet, then do like Dave Brocky has done and have the bottom surface at an angle to stop water and other things being caught on it... THAT I'd like to see...

Seems that ever since the first bulkhead box left avonbar's doors, everyone else has plagiarised, but not significantly improved....

2kg sounds a little bit better LOL
