Hi there,

Ive fitted the complete metro brake setup (dual line) into my engine bay but after shoe-horning my engine in there is not enough space for my clutch master cilinder *frown* .
I m thinking about converting my peddle box to something like ive seen here to make some room http://www.16vminishop.co.uk/popup_image.php?pID=51
but then for clutch instead of brakes.

How ar you guys adressing this problem with LHD mini's? What clutch master cilinders are you using?

Cheers,
Bas

i'm not so far but i also was wondering if it would fit, see Beginners Tech > Turbo box pictures *happy*
it can be done but i guess that you already got the box welded in and perhapes pianted.

can't you tilted the engine slightly forward to get some room.

if not, i sure like you solution *tongue*

there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.

slightly o/t but we had to do a similar think fir brakes in my mates suzuki swift when he put tb's on.

not very clear i know, but we modified a mk2 (?) fiesta setup, they use this thing as std for the brakes.

Yea Ive seen that setup used that Joe mentions once in place worked with no problems (wasn't in a mini, but principle is the same)!
