Hi,
Im looking for some 13 Row Oil Cooler Braided Hoses.
I cant seem to find the right one's.. they look like this,

Any mini parts shop sell these as a kit, Min-its, Minispares etc etc etc.... you can't have looked very hard?

if your planing on using a themostat (which is recomended) then i dont think you can use bradied hoses as you need to cut them i think. if there is a braided hose kit that allows you to fit a stat then could some one say were from please.

i think theres a few shops on ebay that do kits if you have a look.

every mini supplier sells them, i know for fact min-its and minispares do as Tom says. Or you could even try ringing and asking them?

Well i have looked. but they seem different to the one's i want.
So are these from mini spare's the exact one's as the one's in the first link... they seem different at the other end..? this is why i ask.. ill ignore your sarcastic comment's

Right, oil coolers use a BSP thread, as far as i know all of them do. How ever the mini doesn't so you have two nipples which convert the thread from from BSP to an impreial size.

think ebay is worth a look too.

1275GT .. The hoses you're looking at on Minispares are 1/2" BSP at both ends. This means you should get 2 adaptors in the kit that screw into the block and the oil filter head that convert the mini sizes to 1/2" BSP. You then just screw the hoses onto these fittings and the other ends to the oil cooler. Job done.
The other type of hose has 1/2" BSP at one end and mini sizes the other. These are a little more difficult to fit as you have to screw the hose direct to the block and oil filter head, but do the same job.
Also if it says "Oil cooler hose kit for mini clubman" on the description on Minispares, then that's what you'll get in the box, a set of oil cooler hoses to fit a mini clubman

I have used one of Min-Its clubman kits in the past in the ill fated flip fronted van ... so they do them too. In the past when I have had stats with push on connectors I have just cut the threaded ends of one end of tghe braided hose kits.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
