Hi,
I can recommend you don't put one on your car while the car is wet!
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I use a huge bit of blue tarpaulin from wicks held down with a breeze block at each corner.
Not posh but it does the job.
As Bat said don't put it one while the car is wet.

If you look on Ebay there is a guy on there who does all sorts of covers for all sorts of cars. I have one of him and it's been great .... well it was till I lost it!!!

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Yeah the one I had for the Holden blew off and I think ended up wrapped round a cow. I guess it's just me but I always worry about the water proof ones, do they end up trapping moisture in as well as keep the rain off etc? I want one but don't like wrapping the car in plastic if it's still in the rain. Someone ease my fears so I can go buy one!

a waterproof cover absolutely ruined the painton my roof, it "bleatched" it where the cover touched. get a breathable one.!!

Hi jay,
It say's on the moss site,

(A fitted air vent minimises moisture build-up between cover and body)

http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/Shop/ViewProd...669&SortOrder=1

Would the ebay one do the same job as the moss one?. meaning, keep the moisture build-up out.

I may attempt purchasing one, just noticed our crusty friend rearing his head around my wing and scuttle joints! Should tide me through until I get a nice carbon fibre (non rustable) removeable front on.

It was amazing how much of our stuff blew into the field next door, the cows had great fun with it all. Hmmm, breathable cow covers, they'd sell alright I think.

I have the monsoon version of this

To be honest I don't think its's worth using them unless the car is going to be stored a while and you are expecting other contaminates than normal rain.

I only use mine if the car is laying up for the winter or similar.
