If only the parents knew what I was spending my student loan money on haha *laughing**tongue*

I got these in the post on friday...

So yesterday I got my universal sparco subframes in position, using the existing seat mounting bars...

They were a pain in the arse to fit, but thats what 'universal' means

I didn't take any mid-install photos, I was too busy drilling and cutting to reach for the camera!

So heres the finished product...

Looks nice from the front, you can see the seats well B)

The novelty factor hasn't worn off yet, all I need now is an intercom headset and a helmet, then I'll be ready for the rally stages hehe *laughing*

£300 quid a seat (or near as damn it)

Not cheap, but the quality is spot on, and they will last.

Lol @ josh , yeh mate the intercooler gets flys removed and polished every weekend! No bent fins from stones yet either, touch wood... *happy*

Hi,
Nice seats.
You'll definately need something more substantial under your seats than that slotted angle you've got in the picture.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I had the same first thought as Gavin, expect that I though it was Dexion shelving angle ..... not very strong.

On reading further I am assuming it is part of the "universal kit" .... I must admit that instal would worry me that it might break free if the seat base is twisted fore / after in an aaccident.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Hi,
Roger .. I was thinking more along the lines of launching it from the lights and ending up in the boot!
The lack of support under the rear of the seat will allow it to pivot around the black bar underneath.
Cheers,
Gavin :)
