Also do a search on here for "megajolt" there is a thread by nic that explains how to do it all.

I came across this wiring diagram on Autosportlab's website a while back:

Unfortunately I can no longer find it on their site.

First off...Sorry to bring up an old thread.
Does the power to the coil pack need to come off the ignition switch?? or is any old 12v Feed. I've got 2 diagrams both with different ideas.
Cheers

Hi,
I used the original coil feed, but my car was old enough that I didn't have a ballasted system.
Failing that run a wire down from the fuse box.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi, tomorow I go install my megajolt, I have one question.
Need I use a fuse in positive wire that go to edis coil and module?
To megajolt I use a 2 amp fuse, that is correct?

You should always use a fuse in any live supply. If the wire became damaged and shorted to earth, without a fuse you have a fire.

YES! what Tom says!

its not funny when it goes wrong.

My mums ex bloke (who was a complete tool!) put a stereo in her car, he flashed somthing and blew the fuse putting it in so he soldered a bit of wire across the fuse.....

anyway, she had some problem with the car so i took it round the block, went round a corner and somthing obviously shorted where he'd make a hash of wiring it with sellotape, smoke pours from behind the dash, I pull over ank kill the ignition, smoke carries on because he's wired it straight to the battery.... luckly the stereo wasn't pushed all the way in so i pulled it pronto and ripped the red hot wires out with my bare hands before the whole car went up.

with out a fuse it'll only take a couple of seconds for wiring to reach red hot if you get a short.

I will use 15A fuse like this image show.
Another question, is necessary use the 25uF capacitor?
