I was driving along the other day when the temperature guage on my mini simply died.

Today I have have used a circuit tester to make sure that there is a connection present between the sender terminal and earth and also tried changing the instrument pod to a different one, with no success.

My only thought is that the internals of the temperature sender could be buggered, what else should I check for?

Thanks

James

Hi,
Earth the wire that normally goes to the temp sender. With the igntion on the guage should go right to the top. If it does the sender's fubar. If not could well be the wiring to the guage.
Cheers,
Gavin :)
