Hi Guys, right going to start building my ECU tonight (a friend was going to do it but he didn't get time) is there any tips you can give me before i begin.....

made an oops, put the 5volt zener diode where the 12v zenner diode should be........ not put the 12v in any were yet am i better buying a new 5v one or should it be hardey enough to transport to the correct possion?

THey arn't the most robust components - I would personally fit a new one.

Its alright, i poped down to maplin and got a replacement. its all built!! yay. Not sure it will work... but..... we will see..

Were have people got the 4mm pipe from???? i can find 3mm and 5mm ID pipe but no 4mm which seems to be the size for the map sensor.

Dredging up an old thread...Sorry. What gauge wire did you guys use to attach to the pins in the connector? 61 Austin Seven; building a 1275 'over the clutch' turbo, R5 T2'd, custom intercooled, megajolt electrified, canyon carver

I've used quite a hefty feed to the EDIS mind to try and combat the voltage drop when cranking. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
