what the hell is going on in this video lol. That white ae8 is quick but id prefer a levin (like the red one) to a trueno (flappy headlights) body. AE86 is one of my dream cars. |

Im hoping to get one as my next car. A Treuno that is, as the Levin has become so popular and is quite rare they are so expensive. There are soo many in ireland they love them over there.

ae86's are crap(never been a fan of them!) you want a cefiro, RB30 and a big single turbo :) a fast practical family pimp chariot.
turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Holden in Oz made a mess of converting their 5 litre V8 Commodore to unleaded in the '80s so bought a whole lot of RB30 turbos and put them in instead. 500 horse is easy apparently!

I agree AL AE86's dont suck the main reason people buy them now is for the chassis its perfectly balanced for drifting there aint to many cefiro's in D1... although the cefiro is a savage jammer for a pimp cruiser if your looking for something a bit different!

hehe thought that mite rattle a few cages, obv the ae86 is an awesome car but there quicly reachign a point where they are way overpriced and i always think on "bang for your buck" kinda terms. yeah the ae86's are good drift cars, but would you liek to stump up for a reshell every few years when you bin it into kerbs and lamp-posts practicing? that kinda makes them un-practical for drifting if you get me turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

But yeah i would buy an s13 or volvo or bmw and learn the basic techniques of drifting first before i started drifting anything too expensive lol! Look at this baby:
And this awsome coupe:

The prices lads are looking for AE86's over here is hilarious... cheap ones are around €10,000 and it goes up to €15,000 for a spotless one... I do see your point evolution they are way way overpriced!!!

There is a Japanese TopGear-like show. It's called Best Motoring. Do you guys get that show or have access to the DVD's? Because of the huge asian population here in Southern CA, we have these Best Motoring videos available to buy at every book store. If you think the guys on Top Gear beat on the cars, you should watch a Best Motoring Video.

ae86's dont suck lol. i do agree cefiro's are cool too but you dont get many in the uk. how about a these two ebay offerings.

you could have a fleet of S13's for the price of one decent ae86
